Over the weekend SA rapper ‘Proverb’ found himself amidst speculations that his wife, Onalerona, had cheated on him. This was confirmed early on in the week, but what moved us the most was his upstanding approach to dealing with the whole situation and the ensuing media attention it provoked.
He tweeted: “Friends I beg u to please spare Onalerona of any judgment, none of us are perfect. It’s all true, my wish is to protect the kids and shield her from judgement.” He later added. “I have my flaws too, but God is at the wheel.”
Proverb is a true gentleman.
