Itumeleng Khune has just been exposed for pressing the “like” button on a post that seemed to expose Minnie Dlamini’s wedding drama.
Over the past few days, the tabloids have homed in on a developing story claiming that Minnie Dlamini owes her wedding planner as much as R500 000 for her lavish ceremony. When Sowetan took to social media with the story, Itu’s subtle reaction did not go unnoticed.
For months now Itu has been an admirable ex-boyfriend, by wishing Minnie Dlamini nothing but the best as she got engaged and then married.
However, if this was an intentional move then it would be the first sign of pettiness we’ve seen from the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper in a while.
Of course, it is just as possible that this was either a mistake or not the petty move many think it was. A quick look at his ‘like’ collection will also show you that he liked a post titled “Somizi and others come together for Minnie’s Big Day” on the same day as the wedding planner story.
It is just as likely that he was just scrolling through his Twitter highlights and liking every recommended story that came up.
This is not the first time Itu has been grilled by Black Twitter over Minnie Dlamini. In December last year Twitter wasted no time in roasting soccer star Itumeleng Khune over a comment he posted on Minnie Dlamini's engagement announcement.
Itu who dated Minnie on-and-off for three years took to the comments section of her Instagram account to congratulate her on the engagement.
"Congratulations. All the best," Itu commented on Minnie's engagement.
Ever since Minnie announced that she is officially a taken woman, Twitter has been poking fun over the way Itu may be feeling over 'letting her go.'
This has resulted in the soccer star topping the Twitter trends list, as users continue to inundate the platform with a string of side-splitting memes.
